Special Tuition Rate for Military Spouses

$ 250

Per credit hour for undergraduate programs

ĢƵ offers a special tuition rate for all admitted undergraduate students who are active duty service members, veterans, or members of the National Guard or Reserves—and their spouses.

Verification Required

To ensure this discount is awarded to those actively connected to the service member, eligibility must be verified through appropriate documentation:

  • Service Member Verification: Military ID, DD-214, or DEERS verification.
  • Spousal Verification: A copy of a marriage license or certificate is required to confirm active marital status.
  • Alternative Identification: In lieu of a marriage certificate, spouses may submit valid IDs (such as driver’s licenses) for both themselves and the service member to serve as verification.

Please note that while this verification is required to receive the military discount, it does not impact a student’s admission into their academic program. This discount applies to all undergraduate programs and may be used in conjunction with eligible Department of Defense or Department of Veterans Affairs education benefits.

Resources & Opportunities That Fit Your Life

We’re committed to your success. These resources will help ensure your academic and career success through orientation, personalized support, and paid work experiences.

New Student Preparedness Orientation Bootcamp

The Veteran Academic Bootcamp, titled “Mission: College Ready,” is a three-day, hands-on orientation that helps you translate your military discipline into college success. Through workshops, labs, and mentorship from fellow veterans, you’ll build academic readiness, confidence, and community before classes begin. Orientation addresses your specific questions, connects you with fellow military family members, and introduces you to a dedicated student success staff member.

VA Work Opportunities for Dependents

Military dependents using VA educational benefits qualify for the paid VA Work Study program, providing valuable work experience and additional financial support while pursuing your degree. The program offers flexible hours that work around your class schedule, allowing you to gain professional experience in a supportive environment that understands your unique needs.
